UPPER RECEIVER TENSIONING SCREW FOR AR15 RECEIVER

Replacement 1/4-28 TPI Nylon Tip upper receiver tensioning screw for our T15 and T15BDX AR15 style lower receivers.   A 1/8" allen wrench (not included) is required for installation and adjustment.

Note: Two are shown in picture.  Price is per each screw.

    The screws are 1/4-28 TPI.
  2. What size drill bit should be used to drill the hole?
    The 1/4-28 NF threads require a #3 drill bit.
  3. Can any AR15 lower be drilled to accept the upper receiver tensioning screw?
    We have not yet found a forged receiver that will not work. Billet receivers should work but due to the artistic liberties that are taken in the machining process for billet receivers, we have no way to guarantee that all can be upgraded.
  4. Can I send my receivers to Tactical Innovations to have the receivers drilled for the upper receiver tensioning screw?
    Sorry, we don't do any custom work and would not be able to retrofit receivers.
