Precision MACHINED (not cast) and hardened SEAR ASSEMBLY for M16 Open Bolt operation for COLT Light Machine Gun (LMG) fire control set (HAMMER RELEASE NOT INCLUDED). SEAR ASSEMBLY is machined from tool steel and professionally hardened.

The SEAR ASSEMBLY is a drop in replacement for our AM15 operation. However, to use with a Colt Light Machine Gun, you will need the Release Lever which is not required for AM15 operation and is therefore NOT INCLUDED with this SEAR ASSEMBLY. This SEAR ASSEMBLY WILL NOT WORK for Colt LMG 5.56 operation without the addition of the Release Lever which is not included and we do not have available.
